Wedding FAQ

frequently asked questions

Do we have the rights to our photos?

Absolutely.  Capturing and delivering brilliant images of your wedding is my passion and purpose. You have full rights to your images and are free to share, print, and archive them as you like.

How many images can we expect?

I usually deliver between 500 - 800 images. I take many more throughout the day and then handpick the very best ones that highlight and tell the story of your celebration. With so many images, I also find it useful to help you find images you're looking for, by placing selections in groups, such as 'Getting Ready' 'Ceremony' 'Reception' etc.

When do we get to see our wedding photos?

You’ll have your images in 6-8 weeks from your wedding day, as well as sneak peeks available within a week of your big day.

Do you offer online galleries?

Yes. Your password gallery allows you, and anyone you share with, to view your wedding day highlights, and/or engagement session. It also acts as a tool to order prints or other products, if desired. Your gallery is available for 8 weeks. If you need longer, just ask.

Can we order albums and prints?

A wide range of products, including prints, cards, wall displays, books and albums are available. Printed photos offered are not ink-jet prints but actual photographs made by exposing light sensitive paper. Their quality is outstanding. Let me know what you are looking for.

Are you available for travel?

Yes! Destination weddings are fantastic. Among my favorites are Santa Fe, New Mexico, and almost anywhere on the beach. Depending on location, travel and lodging are generally provided by the couple. Please contact with your specific details.

How did you get into wedding photography?

I shot my best friend’s wedding right out of college and fell in love with it. The idea that I was capturing her day for her was a gratifying challenge. On such a sweet and fleeting occasion, I wanted to give her a gift that she would absolutely love. I’m happy to say that some 15 years later, their wedding kiss is still framed above their mantle.

Do you have references?

Yes. Please just ask. I also have Client Raves you can read here.

How can we book you?

After we know we are a great fit for one another, a deposit of 50% is due as we sign the photography agreement and reserve your date. (The remainder due on your wedding day, unless otherwise arranged.) During the lead up to your wedding, I will sit down with you to peruse our wedding Style Book, and also give you a photography questionnaire, to help identify your style preferences and photography needs.
